Subject:  Harassment Prevention Training to launch Nov. 10

As part of our university’s commitment to upholding a positive campus culture and as required by California law, we’re writing to share that Harassment Prevention Training for faculty, staff, and student workers will launch Nov. 10.

As we prepare for this year’s cycle, we recognize that we are still in a time of change and that the end of an academic semester may be busier at different times for each of you. We have also taken to heart feedback received about the length of the last cycle’s training. As such, we are extending the deadline for completion beyond the usual 60 days and have shortened the training to deliver the same important information in less time.

You will be assigned Harassment Prevention Training in TrojanLearn next Monday, Nov. 10 and have an extended deadline of Feb. 1, 2026. You will receive TrojanLearn reminders in December and January to support you but are encouraged to start your training as soon as possible. For more information, visit the Harassment Prevention Training webpage.

As a reminder, there are many support resources available to you and our community, including the USC Report & Response website, your front door to reporting concerns and getting the support you need, and within it a list of frequently asked questions.

Thank you, Trojans, for doing your part in shaping a campus culture in which all are treated with respect and the safety of all our members is prioritized.
